Stress

Compared to let's say fifty years ago we work less, have more holidays, more sports and more relaxed moments. Nevertheless, we have stress. A burnout is even the most common illness in the workplace.

For the correct definition of stress we store: psychological stress, pressure, state of action in which certain immune mechanism is. The meaning of most people sounds different. Because stress is busy, busy, busy, poor balance and a surplus of tension. Right. But stress is not all bad. Rather, we need a certain amount of stress to function properly.

Healthy stress
A bit of stress is healthfull. It creates tension because your body is ready to take action. To respond when threatening situations. Stress brings your body on alert.

In a stresssituation your body makes the hormone adrenaline. This hormone is also called flight or fight hormone. Whether you run away or attack, in both cases you can respond quickly. Therefore your body is in a fraction of a second ready to do something.

Football Stress
Every day we have to do with healthy stress. It helps you to perform well at work. You stay alert and focused. And it ensures that you can do a lot in little time. This is temporary because once you're done, the tension gets down.

Better stress is the tension you feel during a football match. Especially when the game should be decided by penalty kicks. Or if you are just in time on your brake pedal to avoid a car accident.

Stress less healthy
When stress is less healthy? A simple "if it is too much" is not enough. It is about balance. If you've had a stress reaction, your body needs to recover. The more severe the reaction, the more time you will need to get back the balance.

If you have many moments of stress you have relatively less time to recover. And so the stress accumulates. To restore the balance between new and lost moments, there is unhealthy stress.

Less stress

Stress increases your risk of heart diseases. Stress gives your body an extra pressure, but stress also ensures that your life is unhealthy. Stressed people eat more fast food, they smoke and drink more. If you have a stress moment, try to express this in a healthy way.

Stress Symptoms

What you actually feel like you have too much stress? Physically, everything happens because of the number of stress hormones (adrenaline and cortisol) are too high. This lets you feel restless, forgetful and gives poor sleep.

In an already busy or emotionally difficult time, why else do you have stress, these complaints are obviously annoying. Nothing helps to increase stress than a night without sleep! But beware. These signals are of course a warning and so do not ignore them.

Stress signals

There are four types of signals that warn you that you just should slow down:

Burnout

You are arched if the stress gives you less performance. Time has noting to do with it. Someone needs only one month, the other within a few weeks.

Another story is a burnout. Burned. That's when years of stress and tension are ignored.

Actually it is a sort of robbing your body. And the more you do it, the worse your symptoms are. Ultimately then the most ordinary everyday things like vacuuming, just a call or shopping, become increasingly difficult. Often it is the petty little conscious drop before anyone really "collapses".

A burnout is very bad for your health, even dangerous, evidenced by the fact that peace and time alone are not enough to recover. You need professional help and an appropriate change of lifestyle.
